Debbie Harris is a maker, an artist and a connector. Now retired from day school administration, she is excited to introduce people to the Zentangle method of drawing. Debbie has an education degree from Northwestern University with a concentration in instructional media and a master’s degree in professional Jewish studies from Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership.

I was fortunate enough to procure a grant from the Hadar Community Groups fund to faciliate an 8-week class exploring the Zentangle drawing process through a Jewish lens. Each week, we did some Jewish learning and then did a Zentangle activity. At the end of each class, we put all our tiles together to see our class mosaic. What a great experience – we hope to do it again in the fall.
